Baraza Resort & Spa is a five-star all-inclusive property on Bwejuu-Paje beach on Zanzibar's southeast coast, built as just 30 villas in a design that fuses Arabic, Swahili and Indian influences with carved arches, antiques and brass lanterns evoking the island's Sultanate era. The resort runs four restaurants, two bars, a Frangipani spa, a kids' club and a PADI dive centre. It was named among Condé Nast Traveler's best new hotels in the world when it opened.
