Review guidelines
What makes a review publishable.
DRAFT — REQUIRES OWNER OR LEGAL REVIEW. This text is provided as a starting point and has not been reviewed by a lawyer.
Write about an experience you actually had, recently enough to be useful.
Be specific about what happened. "Terrible" tells the next reader nothing; "the boat left an hour late and there were no life jackets" tells them a great deal.
No personal information about staff or other customers, no accusations of a crime, and no abuse. Report a crime to the police, not in a review.
A review is not a place to advertise a competitor, and one written by a competitor is removed.
You may edit your review for a short period after posting and you may delete it at any time. A business may respond once, publicly, and may report a review — it cannot edit or remove one.
We hide reviews that break these guidelines and we tell the author which guideline. We do not remove a review for being unfavourable, and we do not edit anybody's words.
