The Sands Beach Resort is a small beachfront property of about 20 rooms and villas on Dongwe Bay, on Zanzibar's southeast coast a few kilometres from Bwejuu. It is designed for families and couples, with family villas and private-pool villas set around a 25-yard outdoor pool, a full-service spa, and two bars. The resort also runs an onsite dive centre and surfing school, giving guests easy access to the reef and ocean sports right off the beach.
