You will oversee the complete purchasing lifecycle for food and non-food items, optimize hotel financial performance, maintain standard cost controls, and ensure high-quality supplier standards across our Zanzibar properties.💼 What You’ll Do• Reporting & Corporate Alignment: Report directly to the Regional Corporate Purchasing Manager, ensuring local purchasing operations align fully with global corporate guidelines.• Tender Creation & Analysis: Prepare, launch, and manage procurement tenders for food and non-food items. Conduct preliminary supplier comparisons which will be analysed with the corporate department team for final approval.• Lead Procurement Operations: Direct all daily purchasing. Sourcing for food and non-food items to meet company standards and monitor compliance for procurement contracts. Prevent operational disruptions for all contracted items.• Standard Costing & Variance Analysis: Manage standard pricing models.
