Kangagani is a small inland village in Pemba, roughly 10km northeast of Chake Chake, known chiefly as the route in to the Kidike (Ngezi) flying fox sanctuary, a forest reserve with a viewing platform for watching the roosting colonies of the endemic Pemba flying fox. No detailed public information was found specifically about a beach at Kangagani; Pemba's coastline in this area, like much of the island, is fringed mainly with mangroves rather than open sand.
