The main Kusi wind season (June-September) brings strong, consistent southeasterly winds around 15-25 knots, while the gentler Kaskazi season (December-March) blows from the northeast at roughly 12-20 knots; the shallow lagoon suits beginners and freestylers while the outer reef offers wave riding for more experienced kiters.
