Cheetah's Rock is a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation sanctuary near Kama village on Zanzibar's west coast, about 30 minutes from Stone Town. It is not a zoo or safari park but a conservation-focused refuge for animals rescued from difficult circumstances, currently home to cheetahs, lions, pumas, zebras, otters and other species given long-term care on site. Visits are guided and capped at around 37 people per session, with no last-minute walk-ins permitted, reflecting the sanctuary's emphasis on controlled, low-impact animal encounters.
