Nungwi Mnarani Aquarium is a Zanzibar natural site associated with turtle sanctuary, marine conservation.
Nungwi Mnarani Aquarium is a sea turtle conservation site at the very northern end of Nungwi Beach, built around a large natural tidal pool held in the coral rock rather than a constructed tank. It shares its site and origins with the neighbouring Mnarani Marine Turtles Conservation Pond, rehabilitating turtles that have been injured or caught in fishing nets. Visitors can meet and feed hawksbill and green sea turtles, swim alongside them, or take a clear-bottomed kayak out over the pool.
